Chamber in innovative refractory material

The chamber is completely replaced by a new model, which in addition to presenting a new section for the expansion of gases in combustion, provides the corrugated side walls, necessary to increase the radiant surface inside the chamber and positively affect the coefficient of radiation.

The lower insulation is thicker and made of light material, thus increasing the insulating capacity, which allows to keep more heat inside the chamber. The vault is made of light material (about 1/3 in terms of mass compared to the classical material) which contributes to decrease the thermal inertia of the chamber, and to increase the insulation coefficient.

The result is a system that is more flexible (less inertia) and quicker to rise in temperature, and a higher energy yield since it is more insulating.

Spatula burners

New-concept burners are installed, the spatula type mk.2021, designed to meet the growing needs of customers to mould without burrs.

Developed in 2020 through numerous bench tests, they are the result of Maestri’s experience in the production of burner heads.

They stand out for their high-speed round counterpart, an evolution of the original one produced by Pierino Maestri, for their square base shape and oval combustion terminal.

The specific perforations for the passage of gas allow the flame to fan out along the length of the billet passing through, intersecting with the previous and following burners, making heating uniform along the entire length of the chamber and without “cold” areas, thus optimizing heating especially on long billets, where the phenomenon of thermal asymmetry could be more visible.

Management of chamber working pressure

A system that actively controls and regulates the working pressure of the chamber is installed, keeping it more constant, managing the flows in and out of the chamber, keeping the heat where it is needed and reducing the suction of oxygen from the surrounding atmosphere.

This system improves the surface of the pieces and increases the efficiency of heat recovery.

Independent and proportional regulation of the individual tracks

We have created a system to adjust the temperature of the individual tracks of the furnace independently, continuously, and automatically, to achieve an excellent uniformity of heat that is continuous and constant over time, which greatly facilitates the operations of burr-free molding and sampling.

Total soundproofing

The machine is completely enclosed by panels covered with soundproofing material, even in the lower part.

This reduces perceived noise and keeps the combustion air intake area cleaner, lengthening maintenance intervals for cleaning the combustion system.

Advanced control software

The supervision system is installed on a computer, and the machine has all the parameters digitized and available remotely.

The system records all events and working parameters, which are always available and consultable.
